September 11 (Sat.) 6:00 Sherman Independent Rock Series featuring Set Phasers to Stun, Pull the Pin and more. Tickets $10

September 15 (Wed.) 7:00 Papa Roach With over 10 million records sold and a string of hits like “Last Resort”, “Getting Away With Murder”, and “Forever”, Papa Roach has been an alternative rock radio staple since their 2000 album Infest smashed into the charts. With their first ever live album due out later this year, the band maintains a relentless touring schedule that excites fans all over the world. Plus opening acts Methodical, OurAfter, Beyond the Element. Tickets $20

September 17 (Fri.) Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime Dedicated to playing the music of Sublime, Badfish continues the legacy of one of the most influential bands of the 1990s with hits like What I Got, Santeria, Doin’ Time, Wrong Way, and many more. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is that they have replicated Sublime’s essence while developing a scene and a dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Tickets are $17 in advance and $21 at the door.

September 23 (Thurs.) Severed Sinema Never sleep again after our September show at Severed Sinema! Thursday, Sept. 23rd we have a nightmarish double feature - the all time classic A Nightmare on Elm Street - followed by the obscure splattery shock-fest Nightmare In a Damaged Brain. This edition of Severed featured a very special guest, live and in-person: Anders Eriksen, creator of Nightmare Gloves! Anders is famous for his amazing recreations of the bladed gloves from the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Come meet him, check out his gloves, and even try them on and get pictures - they are awesome! Tickets $5

September 25 (Sat.) 6:00 Sherman Independent Rock Series featuring Motionless in White and more. Tickets $10

October 2 (Sat.) 6:00 The Clash for the Cash Round II The Ultimate Battle of the Bands! Thirteen bands compete for over $2500 in prize money, headlining slots at Sherman Independent Rock Series shows, and more in this epic event. Various genres of music will be represented at this awesome showcase where the bands will be judged on talent, performance, and audience response. Come out and support your favorite local performers and cheer them on as they strive to win cold, hard, cash! Band lineup TBA. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 day of show.

October 7 (Thurs.) 6:00 Heroes and Villians Art Show The Sherman Theater Community Gallery presents its second group art show, Heroes and Villains! This show will feature over twenty area artists and photographers presenting their work with a Heroes and Villains theme. Artist Trading Card Swap Meet: Artists are encouraged to bring Heroes and Villains-themed pre-made Artists Trading Cards to the opening for trade with other artists and the general public. Supplies will be available to make trading cards at the show. Plus, live music by Charlie and Ryan from Dream of Fire and the Eric J. Becker Experimental Experience Project Tour.

October 16 (Sat.) 6:00 Sherman Independent Rock Series features Action Item with Chelsea Sound and more TBA. Action Item is a five piece Pop band from New Jersey. These boys are ready to turn heads and take on the future with their genuine and passionate melodies, along with their hard-driven work ethic. The band has been touring heavily and has recently supported acts like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, NeverShoutNever, & The Veronicas. They will be releasing their seven-track album entitled "The Stronger The Love" this summer. Tickets are $10

October 20 (Wed.) 8:00 311 Since their formation in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990, 311 has sold over 8.5 million albums in the U.S. alone, had 5 albums reach the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart, and had 8 singles reach the Top 10 on Billboards’s Modern Rock Chart including the #1 singles “Down”, “Love Song” & “Don’t Tread On Me” along with “Amber”, “All Mixed Up”, “Come Original”, “Creatures (for a while)” and “Hey You”. Tickets are $38. 

Octoberr 22 (Fri.) 8:00 Shawn Colvin Singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin’s first album, Steady On, won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Recording. In 1996, she released A Few Small Repairs, which would prove to be her breakthrough. The murder-ballad “Sunny Came Home” gave Colvin a Top-10 hit and two of Grammy’s biggest honors: Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Tickets $45, $35.

October 30 (Sat.) 10 pm Pre-Party, Midnight Movie Rocky Horror Picture Show Join us the night before Halloween with the highly-anticipated return of our annual Rocky Horror Picture Show screening and pre-party. Rocky will be back at the Sherman for one night only and will be performed traditionally with film projection and live cast participation. This imaginative and racy rock & roll musical is one of the first and only real audience participation films.  Tickets $12

November 6 (Sat.) 8:00 Gallagher  Grab your raincoat, goggles, and ponchos - comedy legend Gallagher returns to the Sherman with his full Sledge-O-Matic show this November! The famous fruit-smasher and prop comic utilizes several outrageous props, including an adult-size Big-Wheel, a beer gun, and the “Sledge-O-Matic.”  Tickets are $30

November 26 & 27 (Fri.-Sat.) 8:00 Railroad Earth Railroad Earth has carved a wide and deep path throughout the American roots music scene. They have become a staple on the national touring and festival scene, and have built a huge following of loyal fans that document and trade every note they play, and often join them on the road for multiple nights. Join Railroad Earth and the Sherman Theater for this Thanksgiving weekend concert tradition. Tickets are $30 for one night, $50 for 2 day pass.

December 5 (Sun.) 7:00 Bowfire: Holiday Heart Strings For the very first time, BOWFIRE brings you a special edition of their blockbuster stage show, called Holiday Heart Strings. Celebrate the Festive Season with some of the world’s greatest violinists and fiddlers performing new arrangements of Holiday classics like Sleigh Ride, Twelve Days of Christmas, Silent Night, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. All who have enjoyed BOWFIRE performances in the past and new audiences alike will take delight in this one-of-a-kind performance. Tickets are $30, $40, $50.

January 20 (Thurs.) 8:00 Rick Derringer & Edgar Winter  It’s an awesome double-bill with two classic rockers! Rick Derringer and Edgar Winter both have impressive musical resumes that have intertwined with each other’s over the years to great success. Tickets are $55, $45, $38
