You are cordially invited to enjoy the Sherman Theater!

As you may have heard, the Sherman Theater is back in operation. We are very excited, and judging by the responses we have received, we believe you share our enthusiasm!

In speaking with people in the area, we have been hearing about a common problem, the lack of a central location or place to find out what is happening in the arts. There may be performances at one location or another, etc., but they are difficult to find. Our goal is to work with you in providing just such a place. We would like to help centralize the arts in the downtown area and provide a venue that is affordable and yet has the capabilities of a large theater! You will still pull your core audience, and they will be in a comfortable theater setting. Plus, you will have the added advantage of getting people who just want to see a show and come to the Sherman because that’s where the shows are. Also, your organization will have ample opportunity and access to the stage for rehearsals and dress rehearsals, on your show date the performers will be comfortable with their surroundings. You can develop sets which utilize our fly tower and can unleashing set designers' imaginations! In addition, we will have a sizeable array of features to assist your organization in presenting a professional performance with ease and confidence.

Online ticket sales.
Professional lighting equipment.
Professional sound equipment.
Affordable concessions.
Ushers.
Comfortable seating for about 1,000 people.
Online scheduling of your performance or event.
Listing of all or your performances on our award winning web site.
A centralized location for any one looking for what there is to see or do in the area.

In fact, we would like to know what your performance schedules are for this summer and into next year.
Even if you have already committed with another venue for the performance, we would still like to post it on our website for you.

In the future, we will offer our on-line ticketing service for your non-Sherman Theater event for a nominal fee.
